GIVE 'IM AN INCH

SOLD

...and he may or may not take a mile. If, indeed, he did decide to take that mile, it could take some time. I wonder exactly how long it would take an inch worm travel 5,280 feet?

Nothing like paintin' a critter to get the spirits up. Back to work.

  3. Magnifico! A mile might be a bit much for this little fella, but he does look determined to at least make it to the end of the canvas!

  8. Glorious color and composition. He wouldn't worry about that mile, just do it an inch at a time.

  9. There is something really uplifting about this one! I'm not sure if it's the colour, the subject (cute, not scary) or both!
I just want to put a little shoe on each of those feet!

  10. I usually find bugs... well, very buggy! Your bugs are beautiful. They make me want to get to know them! And this green you've made is wonderful.

  12. 5280 feet.... is he inching his way to Denver? Or just inching a mile high?

Clearly he's an inchworm AND a glow worm. what a brilliant shade of green!

  15. Hello Again Suzanne!... "inch for inch" your critter portraits measure up higher than all of the rest of of the genre types I visits... by a mile!

Strange isn't it?....That only human beings worry about lofty goals... standards... and awards.

This inch worm doesn't know that there are 5280 feet in a mile... 1760 yards in a mile... and never was forced in school to memorize them. Furthermore... he has never been expected to reguritate any of those facts back during the course of his short(er) existence.

He... or She just lives happily... one munch at a time... never really knowing or caring how far he or she travels... nor... never thinking about or worrying about the robin... around the corner waiting for lunch!

I love this piece... and again the tongue n' cheek thought and humour that is built into every piece Suzanne! Bien fait!

    Good Painting... n' ... munching!
    Warmest regards,
    Bruce
