Terrific painting, the title goes fabulously with it! I absolutely love a monochromatic scheme and there is such beauty in those folds. So glad you came out of the storm safely and with little damage. Have the best weekend:)

How do you do it, Suz? You've managed to make rumpled sheets look so very inviting!! Glad you have some down time with your husband to look forward to (his vacation).
Who Knew how great Gray Skies could actually be? Beautiful, simple, elegance,.. Miss Suzanne ! Lovely, as usual !
My Gunkie, It sounds like you have a well-deserved easy Labor Day weekend planned. Suck the absolute marrow out of it! :}
Fantastic Suzanne - It makes me want to go back to some realism - and yet for some reason I find my self battling with watercolour landscapes once again - I am JUST HIDEOUS at them! Surely the time WILL come when the penny drops and I finally produce a nice one! Good luck with the commission! :0)

painting fabric is something which absorbs me and it isn't easy to get it right but you have balanced the values so well in this one!
Glad you are ok. The painting gray skies is of course beautiful.
Gorgeous soft color! Love the lights and darks. Just saw you had the link for Carol and David also:) Glad to see so many helping out our fellow artists.
I really like this painting. Soft, quiet, understated.
