30 PAINTINGS IN 30 DAYS

"Cracked!"
6x6" oil on canvas
Painting 4

I wasn't going to post this. Not very pleased with it but that's not the point of the challenge. I also think it's good for me to post a painting that I'm not that proud of.

I usually thank everyone and then pay a visit to the blogs, but I'm swamped with a free lance job so I'll have to convey a very hearty thank you for your incredibly generous comments here and promise to get around to seeing all of the challenge posts and my other favorites very soon.

Enjoy the weekend and thanks for stopping by.

  1. Its neat to see the egg from the inside instead of the traditional view. I like the cool colours. Lots of free lance work is a good thing!

  2. Congratulations on pushing through and posting your work even though you are not 100% satisfied, Suzanne. I respect you for it. I've been dealing with my own suckage a lot already this time around. In fact, I touched on this very subject today in my Day 4 post. It's a small world and so many of us have much in common.
I'm so glad you are doing the challenge. I love your painting and writing and like hearing about how your world is finally looking so much brighter! :-D

  6. You've beautifully capture that skin that is in the bottom of a broken egg. Like the cool tones versus the warm I would expect too. Makes for an interesting change!

  7. That's exactly the point of this challenge - have been there myself ;)
Eggs are popular this time arround - and you did a great job. I really like it.
    Keep it up.
