BUMMER!

In search of new subject matter, a concept, a theme, something that I simply can't wait to sit down and paint. Until then, I guess it's floating faces.

We've settled on names for the pups. Raz and Blu. It was Red and Blu, because we couldn't decide on final names so we started identifying them by the color or their collars. I wasn't a big fan of either name until sometime yesterday afternoon I realized how well they worked with our last name! Nothin' gets by me. So Red became Raz. However, we're in talks now to possibly change Blu to Dingle.

  1. When you wrote "it's floating faces" I ended up getting the lyrics to The Aquabats! song "Lovers of Loving Love" stuck in my head. I know they say Funny faces, but I just substituted funny for floating and BAM! it's stuck. Thanks for that. 8-}

    I think the names Raz Berry and Blu Berry are excellent. Dingle sounds a little naughty, but it would be a fun name, as well. I enjoyed seeing their pictures the other day. They are really cute.

  5. Well I don't know how you get these kids to make such funny faces for you, but they never fail to make me smile! I look forward to seeing what's next. Are you doing any more jumping paintings?
