RAZ 2 in progress, and some relief!

Posting this so just I can get little suz out from under the bed. The less said about that self-portrait the better. And wouldn't you know it, the contrarian really likes the damn thing. Figures.

ReplyDeleteYour picture is very sweet and full of heart. A very beautiful and adorable dog.
ReplyDeleteWonderful, Suzanne! I especially love the little pops of color on the pillow, very nice!!
ReplyDeleteIf i did a self portrait it would be with a big hat and sunglasses! Kudos to you!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Diane - I like the colours in the cushion too because it adds even more interest to an already brilliant painting :0)
ReplyDeleteI love this, and especially love all the great textures! Great work on the self portrait also, the toughest thing to paint!
ReplyDeleteSuzanne you are just amazing. Your paintings of life really and truly live and breathe on your canvas!!! I LOVE your pugs. :) And I took a peek at your self portrait below and think it is beautiful!! Well done on both counts!
ReplyDeleteHi Suzanne,
ReplyDeleteLove the lighting in your painting. The textures and colors make this adorable little pug stand out. What a face!!
Sue
Can't get enough of those pug paintings. I'm starting to think if I want to be a real bon-a-fide artist I'm going to have to get a pug. Does my bull mastiff count? He looks a little like a really large pug:) You do incredible work and I am always in awe of your skills. Also love, love, love your self portrait. So much character in that painting and I'm glad the contrarian approves. Such a great composition!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! The lighting is a thing of beauty! Bravo, Suz!
ReplyDeleteLove all your pugs and how you are able to make perfect sense of their delightful series of wrinkles! That self-portrait's not half bad either!
ReplyDeleteI can't get enough of your adorable puggies! What a beautiful job you've done here. So Regal!
ReplyDeleteThe dreaded SP...I think you did a fabulous job. I will have to remember that clever hat trick!
Oh, how did I miss this.... stunning! More than a portrait of a pug - it's a great painting!
