He was our very best friend. He has been with us every single day for past 12 years and his presence was part of our world. He was the most incredible dog I have ever met and we will never, ever, ever be the same without him. Sleep tight my little angel. No more pain. I thought I would be relieved and that I would celebrate his life instead of mourn his death. I guess that's going to take a while.

Oh Suzanne, I'm so so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear, sweet Devlin. Out pets really are family members. I know your loss is great and so very heavy. Thank you for sharing both this great picture of him and your heart with us. Here's a (((HUG)))from me and the kitties.

So sorry to hear about Devlin, Suzanne! I was never much of a dog person growing up, but became rather attached when we added two terriers (a Yorky and a Silky) to the family about 3 years ago...they have such personalities and are so unconditionally loving and loyal. I never thought I could get so attached, but realize that I would take it pretty hard if something were to happen to either one of them. My heart goes out to you...

He was a handsome dog for sure. Beautiful chocolate brown fur coat.
