New Challenge Blog!
























"Solitude One"

This is my first painting for The Naked Artists, a blog artist Sandra Busby and I created to encourage productivity, growth and confidence.

Each month we take turns posting 5 words. One of us then chooses a word and we then create four paintings per month, one each week, that we feel best evokes the feeling of the chosen word.

    This is fantastic and a great take on the idea of solitude. Are you choosing a colour palette as well or is it coincidence that there are orange/gold shades in both yours and Sandra's paintings?

      It's a coincidence Nic... I hadn't spotted that, lol! I do love a bit of orange in a painting :0)

    Such a lovely idea in a blog...the best with it!!!! LOVE this boot...colors...shadows.. all perfect...wonderful work with the fur, Suzanne!! and of course, such a beautiful photo of the two of you...It's so hard to believe that three years have passed since you lost Tim. So glad to see you back!!!

    Suzanne, I was sending positive thoughts to you yesterday. I too think about our Tim everyday. I have his picture on my fridge, so I have a wee chat with him every morning. I hope you are doing well.

    I love this painting! You have captured each texture beautifully . . . the fur, leather, laces, etc., and the lighting is wonderful.
