I can tell this was painted with all the love in the world... it almost comes alive under your sensitive hand and brush. Handsome ...handsome... so very handsome!
Reading back thru your blog, I can understand what an incredible gift you and Tim had been to each other. The painful part is that he's gone, but the good part is that the gift can keep on giving through your tender memories of him. Thank you, Suzanne, for sharing this very personal part of your life, and thanks for the reminder to savor every minute we have with those we love.
What a beautiful portrait of a very handsome man Suzanne! You painted him with so much love.... And know in my heart that he's looking down with so much love and pride for you! Thinking of you!
Suzanne, it has been awhile since I have been in touch or looked around at blogs, but when I saw this in my feed I just had to pop over to say what a beautiful tribute this is to your beloved Tim. It really took my breath away. He is always with you.
Your visits to my blog and the comments you leave here are an integral part of my creative process. They are helpful, supportive and well, let's face it, they feel really good! If I don't thank you personally, please allow me to thank you in advance for taking the time to stop by and leave your thoughts, they mean so much!

I imagine his loss is harder rather than easier as time passes. Sending love to you Suzanne. {{{{{Suzanne}}}}}
ReplyDeleteSometimes there are no words. Thinking about you and sending hugs your way.
ReplyDeleteI love the look of thoughtful concentration, and the warm light on his face.
