Wow, heart and soul on canvas.
ReplyDeleteDear Suzanne,
ReplyDeleteThis painting is so moving -- and it looks like Tim misses you as much as you miss him. I hear you. Love like that is rare, but even though it hurts, the love lasts. Hugs to you on this day.
XOXOXOXOXOXO Barbara
Suz, The portrait is beautiful and soulful. Be well and remember that across the veil it is magical and he can be with you at any time. Much love to you my dear, dear friend.
ReplyDeleteSuz, you did a fabulous job revealing his inner light. I know time is a trickster - one day, 5 years, who can you tell the difference? I think about you often and send you spiritual sparkles to lift you up. xo
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful painting and a lovely tribute to your love which is apparent in every brush stoke and every poignant word. X
ReplyDeleteSuzannne, this portrait is amazing. The marvelous way the light plays across his face reveals a strong and thoughtful individual. What a special way to pay tribute to such a love.
ReplyDeleteOMG, 5 years, really! This is just lovely Suz as always. I know how much you is him.

ReplyDeleteAMAZING PORTRAIT. It is all so pure - especially in his eye.
ReplyDeleteYour love still so strong after five years. Have you read the following ?
I cut and pasted.
"Why I Believe in Immortality" Wernher Von Braun. ... Science, for instance, tells us that nothing in nature, not even the tiniest particle, can disappear without a trace. Think about ... Nature does not know extinction. All it knows is transformation!

Nice art blog and very wonderful paintings !!!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year 2017 !!!
Thinking of you today....hope you are well!!! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteSuzanne, just rummaging through blogs after a few years absence, and saw Carol Marine's link, then Daily Paintworks, and the list of artists, then your name, and the title of this piece.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you're working so regularly and made a lovely portrait testimony of your best beloved Tim.
My partner of 20 years made it to 78 years old in 2016. I've been dating another in the last year which feels good. I hope you're able to be open to the possibilities to continue your growth. It feels that way to me anyway.
Much Love
I just came across this art blogspot for the first time today, and your column brought tears to my eyes. Your work is beautiful, as well as your soul. I only hope that i can become the artist that you are. Such a beautiful piece of art, your Tim! Thank you for sharing.
