Another Christmas commission done! Whew. Hope this makes it safely through the coming storm. We actually have blizzard warnings for tomorrow. Love these storms when himself is home and we're all cozy and warm. Back to work.

  1. Suz, Your critters always have so much life in them. Somehow you capture their essence as much as their likeness. What I want to know is what is a blizzard? =) It's been so long since I've been in one I forgot... I still haven't even seen snow yet this winter... and there's no promise that I will. Well, it's time for me to brave the 61 degree cold snap we're dealing with and do a little running around. :-P
    Merry Christmas,

  2. Hi Suzanne, I agree with Don, the way you capture their essence is amazing. I love the softness of the fur, you are truly an inspiration to me. And yes, SNOW, what do think? I've been watching 12 news and they are predicting anywhere from 6 to 12. Well seeing in believing. Have fun and stay warm.

  3. Hello Suzanne,
This is one of those pet portraits done right! One of the many, many things I like about this particular portrait, is the fur. In addition to the beautiful shiny coat, you have also painted the immense bulk of his fur; very well done.

  9. Suzanne!

    The pet portrait looks great!

I love the dog's expression and how the fur on the ears is in motion.

    Well done!
